Andy Massey Biography
Andy Massey is Head of Medical Services at Liverpool F.C.
He began his career in the game as a professional footballer before graduating with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy and commenced a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy. He then completed a qualification in Strength and Conditioning before graduating in Medicine.
In 2009, Andy was appointed as National Team Doctor with the Irish Football Association
He completed an MSc in Sports Medicine whilst also training as a General Practitioner and was awarded a Fellowship of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine. He is currently studying for a professional Doctorate in Sport and Exercise Science.
Andy joined Liverpool FC in 2013 initially as the Academy doctor and match-day medical co-ordinator, before becoming First Team Doctor in 2015. Andy commenced his current role in 2016.
